I recalled an experience I want to share, I was helping my uncle prep for winter up in Maine last year, and he pulls out his then brand new Ariens Deluxe 28 snowblower, and okay wasn't exactly thrilling stuff until... I spotted the engine branding and it was Loncin, I was surprised I had to double check, yep our Loncin....on a snowblower....sold under one of the biggest names in residential power equipment. At first I thought it was some rebranded OEM thing, but nope, it's Loncin built, straight up
So of course, I got curious and started it cold (about -8°C), it fired right up without hesitation and ran smooth, this was during a wet, heavy snow dump that would've stalled a weaker engine and I just stood there watching this engine eat through snow like it was nothing, thinking… man, people really underestimate Loncin
