Ok, so I picked up a Loncin BWS 175 while visiting my family in Georgia. It jas the 161QMK engine, and while it rides pretty great to me, I'm a little unsure about long-term parts support.

I read a lot of posts online before coming to this forum and they say most GY6 parts fit, just not the head or piston. I don't plan on modding it much, maybe just a Kevlar CVT belt but not now, later.

Anyone here have experience keeping one of these full stock? Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

That's a great pickup! I've had a Loncin with the 161QMK for a little while now. You're spot on, a lot of the GY6 parts fit just fine, but the head and piston are a bit different. Keeping it stock isn't too hard, though. Just make sure to keep up with those valve adjustments and check the belt regularly. The Kevlar belt upgrade is definitely a smart move too. How's your scooter been running so far?

What kind of maintenance schedule are you following so far, and have you had any issues sourcing routine service parts like filters or rollers for the 161QMK?

If you're planning to keep it stock, you'll probably be fine but yeah, long-term parts for the 161QMK can be hit or miss. It's close to GY6, but "close" isn't always enough
