GX200 clone flooding

My Loncin GX200 clone keeps flooding, gas is even getting into the oil. It fills up no matter what I try, so I am not sure it's worth fixing. Should I just replace it? Any engine recommendations with similar power?

If gas is getting in the oil, the only possibilities are a stuck float or bad needle valve. You could swap the carb or something but if it's worn out overall, you could try a Predator 212.

Sometimes you can rebuild or replace just the carb and fix it but if it's more than that, swapping the engine might save headaches, a Honda GX160 or GX200 clone from a reputable brand can suffice and parts are easy to find

The Honda recommendations are good, but if you want a streamlined swap, go for the Loncin 196cc engine, it's practically the same, meaning it should fit with absolutely no issues.

How can I tell if it's just the carb causing the issue vs something deeper? And if I go the replacement route, are there brands you trust more than others for clones?

Hey all, I ended up fixing it, it turned out the carb's needle valve was sticking open, letting fuel pour through. I replaced the carb, changed the oil, and it's running perfectly now
